RedMonkey Pictures develops original content for reality television, concert tours and feature film projects across the worldwide expanding marketplace.


John Troxtel - CEO & Creative Director
Most recently, John served as a visual & post production consultant on "Runnin Wild From Ted Nugent" and Producer on the new reality series pilot for CMT "H2Overdrive 2009" Before that, he created the new virtual on-line world "Music Mogul". He also produced concert tour design projects for Chris Brown, Lil John, 50 Cent, Missy Elliot and Mary J. Blige. RedMonkey films were important parts of some of the largest concert tours from 1991- 2008. John also developed all of the visual elements for Slamball, a Spike TV extreme sports reality basketball show. This included the show graphics, set and court design as well as many other on-screen elements. John also directed and supervised the editoral staff all of the elements created for the new extreme sports reality series, H2Overdrive.

As executive producer at RedMonkey Pictures, John supervised all development of new reality shows, concert tour projects and video game titles including Hip Hop Props (a portable console game for Playstation Portable and the Gameboy OS) and Grid Iron (a new brand and themed sports franchise) and Drive By(a hip hop version of the very successful Grand Theft Auto games).

John has also developed television and film projects for RedMonkey Pictures including I’ve Got Game, Speedcats, Butts Up, Rainbows End, Black Plastic and The Mulligans.

John has over 20 years experience in entertainment and concert tour design. He has been a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Art Directors since 1995. He’s developed themed entertainment projects for The Motion Picture Hall of Fame, The Six Flags Corporation, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Universal Studios. John has designed and directed many major concert tours and live television performances for artists including: Tina Tumer, Eminem, Michael Jackson, Boyz 2Men, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Puff Daddy Destiny’s Child, David Copperfield, JayZ and Nelly. His credits also include a number of television and film projects including: Oceans 11, Nickelodeon's “All That’ and "On the Ropes”for WB Television.
